赵国屏,博士,研究员,中国科学院院士,任中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院合成生物学研究所首席科学家。研究领域包括微生物代谢调控及酶的结构功能与反应机理,开发相应的微生物多组学分析技术。主持了若干重要微生物基因组和功能基因组研究,完成了对重要致病菌钩端螺旋体的全基因组测序和注释,鉴定若干关键代谢途径和功能基因,为深入研究其致病机理提供新的思路。主持了SARS分子流行病学和SARS冠状病毒的进化研究,为认识该病毒的动物源性及其从动物间传播到人间传播过程中基因组、特别是关键基因的变异规律奠定了基础。中国科学院微生物组研究计划的学术带头人和微生物组大数据平台建设的积极推动者,致力于微生物组研究的技术标准化和组学大数据资源的挖掘和平台化。
